Originally from Venezuela, Aguilar has participated in Forgotten Lore Theatre since its inception and currently spearheads the company’s podcast, Midnight Apocrypha as a director, editor, and voice actor. Formerly, he has appeared in the FringeArts Festival entries Dissever My Soul (2015), Ashes of a Dead Philosophy (2016), Every Day, Apocalypse! (2017), and The Clinic (2019). Outside of performance, Aguilar has served as a lighting technician, fight choreographer, and prop designer. Aguilar is also a trained stilt performer whose stage appearances include roles in US Drag, Lysistrata, Rhinoceros, Letters to My Younger Self, The Pillowman and Psycho Beach Party. Aguilar has also appeared in multiple productions with FreshBaked Theater Company for Young Audiences such as Macbeth, Murder of Crows, Romeo and Juliet, and Sleepy Hollow. Also, Aguilar is an aspiring 3D artist under the name AdeCreations, focusing on character creation, animations, and teaching 3D graphics.

as CAPTAIN MURDERER

As part of the original creative team on the first production of Forgotten Lore’s Evermore cycle, Dissever My Soul, Jared has been performing with the company since 2014. He reprised his role in Ashes of a Dead Philosophy.  He has been seen onstage in Peter Pan, Tarzan, Footloose, Distracted, Rhinoceros, Lysistrata, and Very Still and Hard to See. In addition to theatre, Jared has appeared in various student short films and as background in Creed.  Outside of acting, Jared has directed youth productions of Annie Jr. and Music Man Jr. In addition to his theatrical endeavors, he is a photographer, painter, sketch artist, and budding writer currently working on a one-man stage production addressing mental health.  Jared’s dream is to open a communal art center that supports all artists and promotes well-being through art and music therapy.

Rebecca Gomezrueda is a Philadelphia area actress, vocalist, and writer. She first appeared in Forgotten Lore’s Evermore cycle as Ermengarde in Ashes of a Dead Philosophy, and also originated the role of Lillian in the 2017 FringeArts Festival premiere of Every Day, Apocalypse!. More recently, she played Thea Elvsted in Lone Brick Theatre’s 2019 production of Hedda Gabler and starred as Agnes in the company’s 2018 production of Tracy Letts’s Bug. As a playwright and writer of speculative short fiction and poetry, her one act horror play, “The Clinic” premiered in the 2019 FringeArts Festival.

A former dancer and competitive cheerleader, Sascha appeared in the FringeArts Festival as Virginia Clemm Poe in the first installment of Forgotten Lore’s Evermore cycle, Dissever My Soul (2015), and returned in Ashes of a Dead Philosophy (2016). As an actor, she performed in a burlesque cabaret adaptation of Aristophanes’ Lysistrata, Steve Yockey’s very still and hard to see, and Johnna Adams’s Lickspittles, Buttonholers, and Damned Pernicious Go-Betweens. She currently provides voicework for the retro radio podcast, Midnight Apocrypha. Off stage, Sascha is a poet and aspiring fiction writer.

Brynne Maddrey is a Philadelphia-area actress who has appeared in over fifteen theatrical and film productions. She first joined Forgotten Lore Theatre as part of the ensemble of Ashes of a Dead Philosophy. Her FringeArts Festival experience also includes ensemble performance in Every Day, Apocalypse! (2017) and the starring role in The Clinic (2019). Brynne’s stage appearances include roles in Hedda Gabler, Rhinoceros, Psycho Beach Party, and Breathing Corpses. Originally from White Haven, Pennsylvania, Tyler now lives and works in Exton, PA. Tyler has been an active company member since Forgotten Lore’s establishment having performed in both Ashes of a Dead Philosophy and Dissever My Soul. Offstage, Tyler is an illustrator and is currently working on a graphic novel adaption of Forgotten Lore’s Evermore cycle. A Philadelphia area actor and vocalist, Kirk performed backup vocals in the film, Bohemian Rhapsody. He appeared in the previous installments of Forgotten Lore’s Evermore cycle, Dissever My Soul and Ashes of a Dead Philosophy. With FreshBaked Theatre Company, he performed in classics adapted for young audiences, including Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, and The Odyssey. An avid YouTuber, Kirk manages his own channel as Kirkwulf as well as Lone Brick Theatre’s official channel where he hosts the retro radio podcast, Midnight Apocrypha for which he also lends directing, editing, and voice acting.
