Mission

Through innovative and experimental performances, Forgotten Lore Theatre endeavors to create unique theatrical experiences for each audience member in an effort to keep the communal art of storytelling alive.

Founded in 2015, Forgotten Lore Theatre is a Philadelphia area artists’ collaborative that specializes in immersive theatre. The name of the company is derived from our commitment to storytelling, especially those stories that may have fallen out of the popular consciousness or can be told in new ways.

• We believe that art is created in the numinous space between artist and audience.

• We believe in speaking the untold and giving voice to the unheard.

• We believe in shaping alternate worlds in which the issues of today’s society may be approached, inspected, and reflected upon.

• We believe that theater is a transformative experience wherein there are no spectators.
