The Venue
What to Know
Throughout the show, audiences will be standing and/or walking for long periods in low light conditions. Though audience may be seated at certain points, this is not a seated performance.
Audience may be offered food or drink at different points throughout the show. Individual audience members may accept or decline offerings based on personal preference, inclination, or restriction.
Though audience interaction and participation are a part of the performance, audiences who are hesitant about close contact with performers can inform a member of house staff upon check-in to ensure individual considerations are respected as much as possible. Please note: though we may be able to accommodate concerns over close contact, the nature of the performance venue dictates performers and audience members will be in close proximity to one another.
Safety Measures and Considerations
Limited to 12 audience members per performance, Rising from a Thousand Thrones is performed both indoors and outdoors. Though located in Ridley Park, Rising from a Thousands Thrones will follow current City of Philadelphia guidelines regarding COVID-19.
Performances are mostly ambulatory and require audiences to climb stairs and stand for extended periods of time. Comfortable attire and footwear are recommended.
Fog machine and smoke effects may be employed as part of the performance.
Not recommended for children under 18.
