What to Know
“Lovers and Madmen” is a partially ambulatory performance staged outdoors. Audience should be aware that they will be walking over occasionally uneven terrain. We encourage audience to where comfortable walking shoes and to dress accordingly based on weather conditions to day of the performance (light weight, full cover clothing is recommended).
Though paths will be lit, audience members are encouraged to bring flashlights or use their phones at their discretion while traveling between scenes.
Seating is not provided during the performance though audience members are welcome to sit on the ground should they desire.
See the Festival website for the most up to date COVID-19 policies and guidelines.
Immerse Yourself
Throughout the performance, audience members are invited to explore and commune with the fairy realm which will guide them down unique branches of experience. Audience is encouraged to open their minds, escape the world, join the revelry, embrace the ritual, and yield to transformation. Heck, come dressed as a fairy (and see what happens)!
Audience members will individually dictate their level of involvement and interaction in the performance at the onset of the show.
Though audience interaction and participation are a part of the performance, audience members who are hesitant about close contact with performers can inform a member of house staff upon check-in to ensure individual considerations are respected.
