the Cycle

Begun in 2014, Evermore is conceived as a growing cycle of interrelated immersive performances each designed to give audience members unique and intimate experiences as they descend into realms of imagination styled after the works and lives of the authors.

  • An original, immersive theatrical experience in which audiences are drawn into the dark imagination of the famed Frankenstein authoress, Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley whose powers of creation extend far beyond the page. Mary is besieged by an ancient power that reaches out from the fathomless ocean depths, and the authoress must confront the specters and scandal of her past to save her literary child from an unspeakable fate.

  • “The Red Death held illimitable dominion over all”… even its creator. Opposed by the characters that people his work, Edgar Allan Poe unravels the mysteries of life and death through the very words he penned to overcome the forces that keep him from his lost love, Virginia. A love story only America’s master of horror could tell.

  • Edgar Allan Poe is dead, but his creations are restless. At a masquerade gone mad, guests are plunged into the fictive but all too real world of the late author’s imagination. Guests become pawns in a violent game played by Poe’s most infamous characters that questions the fate of art after the artist.

  • Poe was dead to begin with. The dominion of the Red Death grows, infecting the streets of Charles Dickens’s London. Blending and bending the legacies of two literary icons, audiences are taken into a socially-distanced immersive experience that explores the emergence from isolation into a world re-imagined by Poe’s most lethal creation.
